Early Childhood Education - Licensure

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Identify and explain how social, philosophical, and political factors influence education

2. Demonstrate knowledge of child development and the cultural context of learning in PreK-Grade 2.

3. Apply developmentally & culturally appropriate strategies to curriculum, instruction, & interaction with children/students from PreK-Grade 2 utilizing MA Curriculum Framework.

4. Demonstrate effective communication in professional and academic settings by using appropriate non-verbal, verbal, and written communication techniques

5. Incorporate technology to enhance learning & teaching to support access, equity, and inclusion in PreK-Grade 2 Classrooms.
