Program Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: 

  1. Demonstrate proficiency in financial and managerial accounting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, cost behavior, budgeting, and internal controls.

  2. Apply industry-standard tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis), and exposure to ERP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle NetSuite to manage and analyze financial data.

  3. Interpret accounting and business information to support decision-making, planning, and problem-solving in organizational contexts.

  4. Apply ethical principles and professional standards in accounting practices and business decision-making.

  5. Prepare and present financial and business information clearly and professionally in written, oral, and digital formats.

  6. Integrate knowledge from accounting, management, economics, and finance to understand organizational operations and strategy.

  7. Exhibit critical thinking, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism necessary for employment and successful transfer to four-year institutions.
