Business Solutions and Partnerships (BSP) offers a variety of workforce training options for individuals and companies. The following Career and Technical training are grant funded and lead to industry-recognized certifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • HVAC/Heat Pump
  • Welding/Joint Fabrication
  • Crane/Hoist/Forklift 

BSP also offers customized training for businesses and a variety of online, self-paced learning opportunities.  

National Offshore Wind Institute

The National Offshore Wind Institute (NOWI), located on the New Bedford waterfront, is a state-of-the-art training facility for offshore and onshore wind, maritime, oil and gas, first responders, and more. The NOWI offers a comprehensive suite of Global Wind Organisation (GWO) safety training, including:

  • GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) & Refresher
  • GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) & Refresher
  • GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT)
  • GWO Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE)
  • GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) & Refresher
  • GWO Slinger Signaler
